Collection: Darkside

Darkside is a lower-case only font that evolved from a logo for a planned 1990 Fleetway magazine that intended to reprint some of the more popular material from DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. The magazine, which had not been officially named but was dubbed Darkside for the purposes of mockup covers, sadly did not see print, but the logo was later developed into a complete typeface design. It was subsequently used for Hughes’ redesign of Deadline magazine in 1995.
