Collection: Degradation

Degradation was inspired by eroded lettering in a mausoleum in a small cemetery in Ranzo, Switzerland, near the Italian border. The metal letters had rusted, and become conjoined. This suggested a novel use for Opentype ligature substitution – the creation of letter-pairs linked by spreading decay.
