Collection: Griffin

Griffin is inspired by the bold angular machine aesthetic of typefaces such as Maurice Fuller Benton and Charles H. Becker’s 1928 Novel Gothic for ATF and Karl Sommer’s 1930 Lichte [Bright] Motor for Ludwig & Mayer. Griffin adds a lower-case and extends the angluar character of these designs to sharply-pointed crossbars, the ear of the g, the stroke terminals, and an italic version with ‘notches’ and speedlines. Alternate forms of the A and H provide triangular crossbars.
