Collection: Kerberos
Kerberos is a mix of blackletter, Uncial, pen-script and Gothic, freely borrowing from traditional calligraphic forms and evocative ahistorial references. The result is a design that triangulates between mediaeval Carolingian minuscule scripts, Insular script, and Cimmerian high fantasy – Conan in the Scriptorium. The angular strokes are subtly tapered, usually on the lower or right-hand side, the bowls of characters such as the M, N and W wide and rounded, as in the Insular uncial. The lowercase keystrokes provide alternative forms for the A, J, M, N, Q, T, Y and Z. As it is not tied to a specific period or place, Kerberos can be used in numerous contemporary settings, from vampiric romantasy to Gothic horror.
