Collection: Module One

Module One is built from a small number of basic elements which are reflected and rotated on a four-by-four grid. A fifth row has been added to accommodate ascenders, descenders and numbers. Certain uprights are wider and curves narrower to achieve a better black-and-white balance from letter to letter, and accents are centred even though, from a technical point of view, this breaks the grid. Module One evokes a technical modernism, tiling, gun sight targeting, banquette seating as seen from above, or architectural plans. It is seen to best effect in shorter lines, larger sizes, wordmarks and logos.
