Popgod adopts the idea of using an i-dot as the ‘ear’ on the lower-case g, then extends this on through to the other ascenders and descenders. Instead of the short spurs on characters such as the lower-case a, the outer contour is shaped to a right angle, reflected in the d, b, p and q.
