Collection: Stratagem

Stratagem is a seven-weight family with flared bracketed serifs, hard-edged ball terminals and an unusual lowercase g. The relationship of the circular to the rectilinear letters falls somewhere between a classical and a modern model, and this is taken through to the lowercase, which usually derives from pen-drawn forms rather than Roman inscriptions. This DNA ensures that it is clear and open, and easy to read in longer texts, especially in the lighter and book weights. The angled ascenders and sharp detailing provide interest when used at larger sizes. A typographic all-rounder – fresh and contemporary, with a touch of British class.
