Warminster Shaded

Warminster is a subtly flared, almost monolinear design with roots in the English signwriting tradition and early modern sans serifs. The form of the G, the flat-topped 3 and the angled central horizontal on the e are characteristic aspects, as is the vertical-sided M, reminiscent of Gill or Device’s Ministry.

Whilst appreciatively nodding towards heritage, Warminster is an entirely fresh design, rationally arranged over six weights, a condensed, and a series of decorative shaded and inline variants. The italic features cursive forms, especially the lowercase a, g and e. The full family provides a range of weights suitable for both headline and text – a complete type system.

Also included in all weights and styles are old-style numerals, an alternative rounded E, and a small selection of optional ligatures that provide opportunities for custom headlines and logotypes.
